The reserved parking was a nice extra. We spent two nights in this former convent, now a B&B, and came away with a positive impression. The rooms are simply furnished, bright and clean, and the beds were very comfortable.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, and breakfast is buffet style, mostly sweet, with homemade cakes. This renovated former monastery has simple, clean rooms with private bathrooms, TV, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. It's near Alessano, where there are various shops and services, and you can reach lovely beaches on both the Adriatic and Ionian coasts in about 15-20 minutes.

We stayed for two nights in early April. The former convent is a very large place, with many rooms, an inner cloister, common room, little chapel and direct access to the beautiful church of Sant'Antonio. Our room was clean and bright. The owner was kind and helpful, showed us around the whole property, and was fine with our last-minute request to check out an hour later, even with only half an hour's notice. Since it was the off-season, breakfast wasn't served there; instead, it was at a partner bar in the square, 150 meters away. The bar staff were welcoming and helpful too. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was inconsistent. We stayed two days: the first morning there was a generous spread of sweet and savory food, but on the second we got just one pasticciotto each and a cappuccino. I had to ask for croissants, and was told they'd run out. The B&B itself is a beautiful, welcoming former convent, though very simple and basic. It doesn't even have a TV.
