B&B Via Gallipoli

The location was very convenient, and I would recommend the property for both that and the staff and owner's friendliness and helpfulness. Our room was very clean, and the elevator made it easy to reach the upper floors without taking the stairs. The staff were kind and helpful. I especially enjoyed breakfast, which featured typical local products.

Vincenzo, the manager, was courteous and very helpful, and the young woman handling breakfast was just as kind and friendly. Service was excellent, and the location is very convenient. Breakfast on the lovely terrace was generous, with local sweet and savory items and gluten-free choices available if requested. The price seemed quite reasonable for what we received. The rooms are a little small, especially the bathroom. The toilet seat needs replacing, and there was a slightly unpleasant smell in the closet. Apart from those minor issues, everything was fine, and I'd recommend it.

The location is handy for exploring Salento, just outside the bustle of Gallipoli. This small B&B was quiet, and they waited for us to check in even though we arrived late. Our room was lovely and spotless, with air conditioning, a TV, and all the comforts. It was cleaned daily, and the cleaning woman was discreet and excellent at her job. Somehow she even took care of my chronic mess each day, which was remarkable! Breakfast on the terrace was charming. It wasn't huge, but it was delicious, fresh, and traditional, with sweet and savory options. The breakfast attendant was lovely, attentive, and kind. Everything was perfect, highly recommended.

Vincenzo, the owner, was exceptionally kind and always ready with ideas for places to visit. The breakfast staff were wonderful, friendly, and made us feel at home. Each morning they served a generous spread on the panoramic terrace, with sweet and savory Salento specialties and a different savory dish every day. The room was clean and comfortable, with a fridge, TV, and air conditioning, and private parking was free. The B&B is in a great spot, three kilometers from Gallipoli and near Salento's most beautiful beaches. This will be our regular place for holidays in Salento. Highly recommended.
