We spent our days visiting historic places like Otranto and Lecce, both an easy drive away, and swimming at Baia Verde, just five minutes from the B&B. Back at Casa Giada, the terrace and its view over the garden made breakfast a lovely, unhurried part of the day. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable, bright, and well equipped, and the shared spaces felt open and welcoming. Roberto looked after us with real warmth and attention, which made the stay feel like much more than a convenient place to sleep. It’s a great base for exploring Puglia, or for winding down after a day by the sea. We can’t wait to come back.

The stay at Casa Giada is a big part of what made Gallipoli linger in my mind. It's tucked away on responsibly farmed land, and the house has a clean, almost Herb Ritts editorial look while still feeling easy and homelike. Southern Italy was new to me, so I didn't know what to expect. The temperate water, rugged romantic scenery, and one unforgettable glimpse of a cuttlefish were lovely, but only half the charm. PS, anyone up for the outdoor brick pizza oven?

A few kilometers outside Gallipoli, Casa Giada sits quietly in the countryside. Roberto makes you feel at home, and the personal care here is hard to find elsewhere. A place I'd happily return to, and recommend without hesitation. August 2024. Enric & Eulàlia

Getting away from the city's noise made it easy to properly rest, and the whole stay felt like a dream. The place is peaceful and clean, with beautiful architecture. Roberto was attentive to every little detail and took such good care of us. We recommend staying here 100%. Thanks, Roberto. Until next time.
