Castello di Razzano, The Originals Relais (Relais du Silence)

The courtyard restaurant was a highlight, and we really enjoyed the food. We came at the end of May, and even the walk from the parking lot to reception felt special, with jasmine and roses in the air. The hotel is quite remote, so it suited us well for a peaceful few days away. Our room had AC, while its old-fashioned style fit the building nicely. The staff were all warm and helpful and made us feel comfortable. Giulia deserves a special mention for her excellent service. We had a lovely stay and would happily return.

The quiet around Castello di Razzano near Alfiano Natta makes it easy to forget the rush of everyday life. We plan to come back. The wine museum is well worth a visit, with a proper look at the history and craft of winemaking. We also loved the restaurant, where every dish felt like a little masterpiece, and the chef's cooking was outstanding. The rooms are huge and opulent, and the staff are wonderfully hospitable. The palace has been restored with such taste that it feels like stepping into a Merchant Ivory film, only without the awkward silences.

Bring a book and settle in by the beautiful panoramic view. The place feels like paradise, with a setting made for total relaxation. We had a wonderful wine tasting with great food, and the staff were so friendly. You can forget about the rest of the world here.

The peaceful, breathtaking surroundings were a big part of our stay, and the team was kind, helpful, and clearly cared about our satisfaction. Our family of four spent three nights in the Razzano property. The clean, spacious apartment had a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchenette, and it was cleaned daily and kept in great shape. The pool was clean and a reasonable size, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast was fresh, with pastries, eggs, meats, and cheese. We recommend it completely.
