The pool was lovely, and the setting just outside Alghero was beautiful with parking available. The room felt pretty basic, though, and that mattress was too thin for us. There’s no food or drink on site anymore, so it doesn’t really feel like a B&B. A few more amenities, maybe laundry or a bar, would help.
We’d happily come back. The staff were so welcoming, our room was clean and comfortable, and the pool was a perfect place to unwind. Alghero is only a short drive away, too.
Such a peaceful spot for a relaxing countryside break, and town is still nearby. The huge bumps in the road are the one downside.
The gardens are beautiful and well cared for, and the pool, my room, and both reception rooms were all wonderful. It’s a lovely, quiet place for some family time, with a fantastic atmosphere. I was fine sorting out my own meals and drinks. The breakfast, though, is a pretty bold thing to call breakfast: nothing was fresh apart from the water and coffee. The charming gardener and the place itself more than made up for the hospitality that was missing.
A really peaceful, pleasant base for seeing the Alghero area.
