BB Il Faro Alghero

Carolina was a great host, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a nice sea view and everything we needed, plus a little more. The breakfast was excellent, and they prepared it even though we had to leave very early. One of my best stays. We definitely got more than we paid for.

The manager, Antonio, was extremely kind and helpful during my three nights at the end of May. My bright, quiet room had a sea view and a large, new shower. There’s a shared kitchen on the floor with a kettle, coffee pod machine, toaster, microwave, cups, cutlery, and utensils. You can also use beach towels, sun loungers, mats, umbrellas, snorkeling masks, and coolers for free. Basically, it has what you need, especially if, like me, you arrive on Ryanair. The airport is a 15-minute bus ride away, with the stop just a few meters from the property. It’s five minutes to the beach and 15 to the center. The place is on the third floor with no elevator, but the stairs are very manageable.

The center is just a short walk away along the port, and the owner, Antonio, was kind and helpful. He even helped us sort out a problem when he didn’t have to. The property was in excellent condition and well maintained, with regular cleaning and bed linen and towels changed more often than expected. There were lots of beach items, including mats and umbrellas, available to use for free. Our stay at Il Faro do Alghero was wonderful, with no unpleasant surprises. I highly recommend it.
