We spent 12 days here and had some lovely evenings. It's a great spot, close to Alghero and the beaches, with a peaceful feel. Silvana is so sweet, and both she and Costantino were very friendly and welcoming, always attentive to us. We'll be back soon!

The owners made us feel genuinely welcome, and we had plenty of room, including use of a kitchen with a fridge, freezer, and microwave. Alghero is just a few minutes away by car, and Bombarde, Lazzareto, and Mugoni beaches are around five minutes away. Capo Caccia is well worth a visit too. We really enjoyed our stay and will miss it.

I'm sorry to leave a negative review, but other travelers should know what we experienced. The property itself is in a pleasant setting among olive trees. There are three dogs roaming around, which didn't bother us because we love dogs, but it should be mentioned for guests who aren't comfortable with them. Our room wasn't especially clean, either. The bigger problems were the missing Wi-Fi and the way we were treated. Booking.com said Wi-Fi was available throughout the property, but there was no sign of it when we arrived. They later took steps to install it, but the advertised service wasn't actually there. Air conditioning was charged by the hour, another detail that wasn't stated on Booking.com. Before we arrived, Mr. Costantino tried over the phone to pressure me into renting a car, although we'd already arranged a scooter through another property. He kept bringing it up during our two-day stay. We also felt we had no privacy. Advice is welcome, but there are appropriate ways to offer it. One evening we couldn't make it to a restaurant that had kindly reserved for us. I appreciated the reservation, but being woken by a knock at 10 pm to ask whether we were going was too much. If I wanted that kind of control, I'd have stayed home with my parents. A vacation should include some rest and privacy. On the second day, a serious family matter meant we had to leave early. We'd paid for three nights but stayed two, and hadn't yet paid the full amount. With the stay ending early and the inconveniences that hadn't been disclosed on Booking.com, we didn't think the full price was fair, so we agreed on a lower amount. Before we reached that agreement, though, we were called crafty and liars, and made to feel almost like thieves. We were kept at the table for hours and made to feel awful about leaving. I understand that a sudden cancellation can cause trouble, but it can happen; once both sides have professionally agreed on what is owed, the matter should end there. It shouldn't become personal. Mrs. Silvana was a very sweet and kind woman, but unfortunately I can't recommend this property.

The owners go well beyond basic B&B service. They offer thoughtful advice, help arrange vehicle rentals by negotiating prices with merchants, provide their own genuine products, and can do laundry when needed. The housekeeping is immaculate, with deep cleaning and fresh bed linen and towels every week. Both husband and wife are admirable people, full of kindness and helpfulness.
