The owner was so warm and helpful that the place felt almost like staying at a friend's home, with a relaxed, homely atmosphere. We spent three nights at Calciufetta, a quiet spot at night within walking distance of the old town, and woke to birds singing. The room's bed was very old and probably needs replacing, but for a budget B&B we had a pleasant stay and I'd happily choose it again on another Alghero trip. I had worried about sharing a bathroom, but there were only two or three rooms and two bathrooms, so it wasn't an issue; both were clean. Breakfast included tea, coffee, milk, cereal, yogurt, toast, butter, jam, and some bananas. There was a kitchen fridge for anything extra, though we didn't need it.

The room was roomy, with a pleasant balcony and air conditioning, and the beds were really comfortable. Claudio was friendly and very helpful. Great value for the price, I'd definitely recommend it :)))

For what was provided, the price felt fair. It's a simple apartment where the owner rents out two rooms and lives in the other one. Still, my stay was seriously affected by nighttime disturbances caused by the host himself.
