Our visit to Sardegna ended on a sour note. The owners were extremely rude and impatient because we couldn't find their hotel. An ignorant bus driver dumped us more than a kilometre away, leaving us to drag heavy suitcases and hand luggage through Alghero while trying to follow Google Maps and asking local people for help. Most tried to help, but none spoke English or had heard of the place. It was the worst place we ever stayed.

Check-in was great. The location is great too, and the compact room with a terrace was just right for one person.

The apartment was nice, with a new bathroom, and the owner was nice too. The location is quite good, close to the old town.

The location worked really well, right in the city center and close to everything. The room is small but has a nice terrace, and they provide sunshades and beach gear, which was a lovely extra. We got in before check-in time, which was convenient, though we had to call the cleaner back to sort things out again. You can't leave a bike inside, and the neighborhood is very noisy. Still, I came away with a positive impression 👍
