We only had a long weekend, but Sandro put together a personal plan for us, and somehow we fit so much into just three days. We got to try maialino sardo with a pastore, eat where the locals go, see the prehistoric Nuraghe, and explore Sardegna’s beautiful, untouched coast, using Sogno di Alghero as our base. Sandro’s incredible hospitality made it an amazing trip. We’re very grateful for how well he looked after us.

Sandro and his wife made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They were attentive while still giving us room to relax. Sandro is warm, kind, and knows Alghero and Sardinia inside out. His recommendations for hidden gems made the trip unforgettable. The place is beautifully maintained, and it’s quiet despite being close to everything. The pool was sparkling clean and always just the right temperature. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with excellent beds and air conditioning that worked perfectly. You can tell a lot of thought went into the details. The grounds feel private and secure, with electric gates. We can’t recommend Il Sogno di Alghero enough. It’s hard to leave a place like this, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

The room was nice and clean, the host was super friendly, and there’s a nice pool. Sandro knows Alghero and the surrounding area extremely well. During our two nights at Il Sogno di Alghero, he asked what we most wanted to see and gave us amazing tips on places to visit, the best restaurants, and activities like hiking. I can definitely recommend the place.

The pool was right outside our apartment, just a few steps away, and there was a lovely BBQ area beside it. We could also drive to Alghero's old town in no time. We loved staying at Sandro’s, especially the personal touch. Thanks again, Sandro! Greetings, Sandra

We felt at home with Sandro and Monica. They were so welcoming, and their place is a lovely spot to unwind. Sandro shared lots of ideas for places to visit and was always ready to help. Grazie mille Sandro e Monica, ci vediamo presto!
