The room itself didn’t give us any particular trouble, but because of the host’s attitude I wouldn’t recommend the apartment. We spent a week there, and both of us loved the city and the Sardinian vibe. The host was Luisella, the worst we’ve ever had. When we asked about the room, she didn’t seem to understand what we meant, complained, and treated us as if we were stupid instead of trying to sort out the specific issue. On checkout day, we asked if we could leave our luggage until we got back from the beach. She said yes, since she had to clean anyway, and told us we needn’t take the keys. But when we returned, she’d gone out. We politely asked her to come back and let us in so we could leave, and she blamed us for arriving too early, saying she’d be away for 40 minutes. When she finally came, she just said, “get your bags,” and stood over us while we packed. We tried to use the bathroom to change out of our swimsuits, but she shut all the doors in front of us. I tried going onto the balcony so I wouldn’t have to change in front of her, but she wouldn’t let me. When I refused to come back in from the balcony, she threatened to call the police. It was ridiculous. I hope she learns proper English, or at least develops a “customer comes first” attitude instead of being inflexible, bad at solving problems, and blaming the customer for everything.

The beds weren’t comfortable, though the place was clean and close to the beach.

Antonella was kind and always available, thank you. We had a wonderful stay in this very clean, beautifully decorated apartment on a quiet street near the sea. We’ll definitely come back and hope to see you soon. Thanks again.

The way we were treated was terrible. The lady was rude, arrogant, unprepared, and seemed to have no regard for customers. My partner and I had even considered booking a stay ourselves at first, but never went ahead. I absolutely don’t recommend this place. I spoke with the owner, Antonella, about a 16-day stay as a gift for my parents. She forgot to give me the email address for sending the booking request, so I followed up. She then texted me an offer, but changed it half an hour later because she’d entered it incorrectly. That can happen. She had also agreed to cover the €16 tourist tax, then said I’d misunderstood and we had to split it. Fine, it was only €8. She didn’t have change, so she kept €7.70 and asked me to remind my parents to give her the remaining 30 cents. I’d paid over €2,000 for 16 days, but apparently the 30 cents still mattered. There was a last-minute mix-up over the check-in date, which meant we were paying for an extra day. I asked if she could accommodate us, but she said it was my mistake and that otherwise she would have booked the apartment for that night, even though my parents weren’t going to sleep there. When they arrived, they were the only guests in the whole building. So much for needing to reserve it for someone else. An hour after they moved in, she was already calling me for the remaining balance. I paid it in full that day as agreed, but had to wait to get the receipt. I later found that the second bedroom was locked even though we’d rented the whole apartment. Since I’d paid for an extra night, I asked if they could check out at 1 PM instead of 10 PM, so they could leave some things in the fridge before their evening departure. She said I could buy another day. She also said she couldn’t delay checkout because if someone asked to check in before 4 PM, she’d charge them for the previous night. That sounds like charging two guests for the same night. Parking was the same, we couldn’t leave a loaded car there for a few extra hours after paying for 16 days, even though it was practically empty. I understand people want to make money, but this petty, rude behavior is inexcusable. Her manners and customer service were a disgrace, unlike anything I’ve experienced. Her ethics and professionalism were unprecedented.
