We were nine in the group, and the bar staff kindly set tables together for us and made sure we always had drinks and snacks. The whole staff was friendly and helpful, including the polite pool attendants, and both pools were lovely and cleaned every day. Our room was clean and had a lovely sea view. Breakfast was very nice, though the cooked food could have been warmer, as the bacon was sometimes cold. We also tried the weekly barbecue and thought it was delicious. Everyone had a lovely week, and we'd definitely recommend the hotel.

The beach is lovely, and the hotel is in a superb location, about a 14-minute drive from beautiful Alghero. Staff were delightful and helpful, the food was reasonably priced and well prepared, and the terrace tables look out to sea. There are comfortable lounge areas too. The rooms, though, are dull, and the smaller ones lack basic amenities. We had no tea or coffee facilities, unlike at our previous hotel, which cost a third as much. The little bathroom had no shelves, including in the shower, and the shared corridors felt clinical, almost like a hospital. At €250 a night for B&B without a sea view, it didn't feel worth the price. There's no lift, so bear the stairs in mind if that's a concern.

The hotel's beach is great, and the story about it is well worth a read. The pools are lovely too. It's a bit away from things, but getting around is easy, and the staff are all really friendly and give first-class service. One evening a staff member played the piano in the patio, and we even got to have a waltz.

The seaweed has a bit of a smell, though you get used to it. Otherwise, this place has everything I want in a holiday: fantastic staff, a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, and wonderful beach and views. I love it here.

The staff were very kind, and our room was clean. Still, the facilities weren't quite what we expected. The place felt more like a hospital than a hotel, with no cosy atmosphere, and there was a slight smell in the room as well as at the beach. For us, the quality didn't justify the price.
