The rooms were clean, comfortable, and in great shape, and the staff were really kind and attentive. A special thank you to Alessandro Fiori for going out of his way to help me get a lost item back. The setting is a little out of the way, which makes it peaceful and a lovely place to switch off in nature.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with loads of fresh choices, and the staff were kind and joked around with us. Alghero is close by car, and Lidl and other shops are nearby too. I also found a lovely, quiet walking route around the grounds, though I wasn't sure I was allowed to be there. There were horses and cows around, but too far away to interact with. The rooms are in a different spot from reception and the pool, down a long dirt and country road. It's a fun drive, but it's quite a trek, and our car ended up covered in dust. After we forgot a towel at the pool, we had to drive the whole way back and forth for it. The pool itself is a public pool that hotel guests can use for free. It's nice and lively with locals, though it may feel busy if you're after peace and quiet. Our room was old but clean, with a living room, huge bathroom, and a very large bedroom. There was even a kitchen hidden in the closet. The high ceilings made me think the building might have been an old barn. The air conditioning was in the living room, so it helped during the day, but it couldn't cool the bedroom two rooms away at night, which got very hot. The kitchen was handy, and the electric hob worked fine, but there was no gas hookup. You'll need to bring basics like a sponge, dish soap, oil or butter, and towels. WiFi was very slow for me, though it seemed to depend on the phone. The living room only had a wooden table and four chairs, with no decorations or sofa, so it felt bare. We moved the spare single bed in there and used it as a couch. It's an unusual and fun place, but a few changes would help: make the rooms feel more welcoming, fix up the bumpy road, and add a sofa. Some information on local walking trails would have helped too.

We left in the end. The restaurants looked as if they served prepared food, and the apartments were very basic, with no linens or towels unless you paid extra. That would have added 50% to the total cost. The mountain setting and pool were interesting, but the accommodation being 1,5km from the main building made little sense.

The pool sits beautifully in a green area, and there's enough parking fairly close by. The wasps are there, though that's pretty normal. I didn't love having to wear a colored bracelet to prove I'd paid to enter, it made me feel like a marked cow. And the pool bar makes it easy to spend money :)

We paid €80 for one night with breakfast. The rooms are about 1km from the main building, spread out across the hills, and the breakfast building is close enough to walk to. The views are great, the rooms are basic but good, and everything was clean. There was air conditioning, but the walls are very thin and you can hear the neighbors clearly. The main building has reception, a restaurant, a pool, and a bar that was closed off-season. Since it was mid September and the season was over, the place felt a bit deserted. Staff were friendly, though not very focused on guests, and we couldn't get a coffee during the day. It's good value for money, but we got the sense people were already longing for the end of the season.
