The Shell

The owners are very helpful, and the place is close to everything you might need. This B&B has three rooms and a shared kitchen. Our room was gorgeous and had all the basics: fridge, hairdryer, courtesy kit, coffee machine with pods, and a kettle with tea. They also lend umbrellas and beach mats, which is handy if you flew in and couldn’t fit them in your suitcase. Cleaning is every two days. Because of Covid, breakfast was provided through vouchers to use at the bar. The only drawback is that there’s no parking, though there’s a large paid lot nearby and you might get lucky and find a free spot on the town streets. Highly recommended.

The owners were very kind and even offered to freshen up our room halfway through the stay. It’s a small, high-quality guesthouse. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a little personal fridge. It’s not right in the centre, but the historic centre is a five-minute walk away. Recommended. June 2022.

The hostess was friendly, and the room was modern and clean. It’s a short walk to the centre, but the mattress was too firm. Finding free parking nearby was very difficult.

A welcoming little B&B, spotless and with nice attention to detail. Mr. and Mrs. Marco were kind and helpful. Thank you.
