Alghero was a fantastic city to explore, with loads of little restaurants, bars, ice cream places, and a fish market. You can also visit Neptune's Grotto or go on a dolphin tour. As for the apartment, parking isn't available in the pedestrian-only area, but we left the car at the harbor, about a 10-minute walk away, and had no trouble. We were there for two nights with four people. One couple ended up on the kitchen sofa bed, which wasn't great, and we hadn't been told about that arrangement in advance. We were also expected to take out the trash. The photo is of the building, and the entrance is between the two buildings. It's dated, with a very narrow, steep stairway. Our room was on the first floor, with the fan-cooled bedroom on the left and the kitchen and balcony on the right.
