I’m reporting this case and the evidence to AGCM and ECC because I believe this was an unfair commercial practice. My formal complaints were ignored until I put up a public review. Only then did Antonella Usai contact me, offering partial reimbursement if I removed it. I found that highly unprofessional. My booking, confirmed by Antonella Usai, was from 21 April to 2 May. Throughout the stay, there was awful drilling and wall demolition from 8am to 5pm in the neighboring apartment, which was undergoing major renovations. There were no signs or legal notices at the site. I believe that broke consumer trust and may have violated Italian consumer protection laws. Antonella Usai said neither she nor the apartment owner knew about the constant noise. I found that dishonest. When I complained, she told me to “wait for the weekend,” when the work would stop. She showed no concern for the days of disruption I’d already put up with, or for the fact that the noise would start again the next week. Her response felt patronizing and dismissive. Antonella Usai refused to move me or refund me, saying there were no other properties available. I found several listings online under her agency name, property solutions by Antonella Usai, so I considered that claim dishonest. Antonella Usai blackmailed me and tried to make me stay in the apartment in unacceptable conditions to cover the down payment, then had me removed halfway through my stay without my consent. The agency involved is Property Solutions di Antonella Usai, in collaboration with Italianway.house. If honesty and transparency matter to you, stay away.
