Alicudi Giardino dei Carrubi

Alessandra was kind, professional, and always ready to help. The rooms were beautiful and cozy, and breakfast was exquisite. Il Giardino dei Carrubi feels welcoming and well cared for, and fits naturally into the surrounding landscape. A wonderful stay on an island that will stay with you forever.

We loved waking up to the sunrise from our room's lovely balcony. Breakfast was generous and served on a big terrace, with the outlines of other islands in view. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished and everything was spotless. Alessandra was welcoming and happy to share useful tips for enjoying the island, and trails to beaches and scenic spots start right at the B&B. It's a real escape from everyday bustle. Getting there means climbing up from the beach, but after about 350 meters you're surrounded by nature and quiet. We spent a week here and found everything we wanted.

The evenings on the terrace, chatting under the stars until late, and watching the sunset are memories I'll keep for a long time. At night, Stromboli erupted clearly over the sea and islands. Alessandra was an exceptional host, and our room was beautiful. We spent four unforgettable days here with our nine-year-old daughter, and the breakfast was fantastic. We stayed at this magical B&B in August and would definitely come back. Alicudi has no roads, and you get around mostly by steps, moving practically vertically. You get used to it after the first day, and the sea feels unlike almost anywhere else in the world. See you next year!

Alessandra and Valentina made us feel right at home, and Alessandra took care of everything we needed. The morning desserts were excellent, made with genuine ingredients and lots of love. Alicudi is stunning, but the 365° terrace at Giardino dei Carrubi made our stay even more special, with a magnificent view of Filicudi. Our room was clean and well looked after, and so was every detail around the property. A little paradise within paradise!
