We ended up staying here after stopping by the lake in Alleghe for a break while driving through the Dolomites from Belluno. There were rooms available, and it turned out to be a great choice. The owner was an amiable gentleman and a real professional, and I was lucky to have a lovely conversation with him. Dinner included typical game dishes and polenta, and breakfast was a very good buffet. It’s a typical Italian Alpine winter resort, with basic furnishings and plenty of warmth from the staff. They all spoke English very well and gave great service. I’d highly recommend it if you’re in town.

We had a lovely view of Alleghe Lake from our balcony during our three-night stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and spoke good English. Both breakfast and dinner were typical Italian meals. I especially enjoyed dinner, with generous portions of both primi and secondi.

The food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious, and the English-speaking staff were very pleasant. The hotel is in a lovely spot, close to the lift up to the mountains. The bathrooms were a little old, though that didn’t bother us for a stay of a few nights.

It’s a clean, quaint little hotel with wonderfully friendly staff and management. The service was great, while the food was okay. Some rooms feel dated, and a few bathrooms are small. With the ski lifts so close, I’d recommend it as a pleasant place to stay, even with three small children.
