The top-floor rooms felt a little outdated, which was the only downside for us. Otherwise, we had a good stay at Hotel Montanina during a ski trip with our kids. It was clean, the food was tasty, and the service was quick and friendly. The location was very convenient for skiing, and we’d consider coming back.

A practical, comfortable place for a family stay, with very reasonable prices. The shuttle runs frequently, and there’s parking and a ski room. Drinks at the bar were very good, and the spa was a nice way to unwind after a day outside. Breakfast was tasty and high quality, though it leaned mostly sweet. There were no vegetables, so we brought our own. It’s family friendly and worked very well for a stay with children.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly, and the location was good. But the bed was the worst I’ve had in years, and I couldn’t sleep at all. The curtains are almost see-through, so sunlight wakes you right up. The mattresses and curtains urgently need replacing. Also, don’t arrive late at night.
