B&B 1951

There is motorcycle parking in the private courtyard, and the location is good overall. The owner was very welcoming and gave us useful advice for getting around, sightseeing, and eating in Altamura. A good bed and breakfast.

The location made it easy to see the area and Altamura's historic center, with plenty of restaurants close by. What stood out most was how helpful and kind the owners were, always offering suggestions and making our stay more enjoyable. The welcome was warm, the spaces carefully designed, and the atmosphere made us feel at home. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed and a great night's sleep. This B&B went beyond what we expected. We can't wait to come back.

This is a guesthouse, not a B&B. Breakfast isn't part of the room price, and the nearest bar is around 800 meters away. The room was clean, but the bathroom was a disaster: the glass was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, the toilet seat just sat flat, and there were no shelves for toiletries. We stayed two days, and the elevator only worked intermittently. Getting to it means a steep descent or some uncomfortable stairs from the pedestrian gate, then another flight of stairs to the entrance hall. At least that access should be mentioned.

We were five, staying just one night as a family. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, with a comfortable bathroom and large shower. It's an apartment in a condominium, with parking available for guests. Other people were staying in the other rooms, though they had separate bathrooms. The location is a little away from the center, but not too far, and the host was ready to help with anything. We were in touch over WhatsApp, and his mother, who lives downstairs, was very kind. One thing to know: breakfast isn't included, and there's no kitchen or arrangement with nearby bars. I highly recommend it.
