We were left without a place to stay after the host told us to try checking in the next day. We’d booked months ahead, but heard nothing about check-in until noon that day, when he says he tried calling and emailing. We had no service on the trip, so neither message could reach us, and there’d been no chance to arrange a time before 7 p.m. We found the property around 7, though it was hard to locate, and nobody answered the door. A kind man at the restaurant next door lent us his phone at 7:40 so we could call. The host had already gone home, and then yelled that it was our fault. A check-in time could have been arranged well in advance. This was very disappointing and unprofessional, and I wouldn’t recommend booking here because the host wasn’t reliable.

We paid in advance for a superior room, but when we got there, it wasn’t available. The hosts offered us a lower category room for the same price, even though their platform clearly lists it at a lower rate. When we said we were disappointed, they insulted us and kept arguing their case. Awful experience. Avoid at all costs!

We only stayed because of the location. The room looked decent in the photos, but the reality was very different. The bed felt like sleeping on the floor, the pillows were just as bad, and the towels were so rough they hurt my skin. The shower was gross, with visible mold on the walls, and the water wouldn’t drain, so it turned into a pool. There was a stain on the chair, too. They didn’t provide shampoo or conditioner, and whatever was in the bathroom looked like some kind of sample. The TV remote still didn’t work after they put in a new battery, so I had to change channels by hand. This place has potential, but for now bring your own towels and toiletries, and a bed, lol. I don’t know what to call it, but to us it seemed more like an Airbnb than a hotel.
