Amalfi Blu Retreat

We were greeted by a beautiful sunrise from the amazing sea-view terrace every morning. When we come back with friends or partners, we’d definitely stay here again. In late October we chose Amalfi Blu Retreat because it had the best and newest facilities of all the hotels and apartments I looked up. It’s on the street where the bus passes, so getting into Amalfi town was easy. Maurizio welcomed us warmly, took care of everything we needed, answered all our questions, brought us coffee, and even offered to get bus tickets.

Genaro was extremely helpful, answering our questions and sharing great travel tips about places to go and things to see. I stayed here in September and had the best experience. The view is breathtaking, and the bus station right outside the resort makes it easy to reach the city restaurants and shops in about eight minutes. Highly recommend.

We loved the peaceful setting among the lemon and vegetable terraces on the Amalfi slopes, and still found it easy to get around. We usually walked down to Amalfi in about half an hour, then took the SITA bus back in the evening. From town, boats and buses make the neighboring places easy to reach, and we especially recommend the boat connections. There are also two little mini-markets within walking distance for fresh sandwiches and cold drinks. Our apartment was new, tastefully decorated, and quiet. Gennaro and his family were so kind and helpful with everything we needed. Sitting on the terrace with a coffee in the morning or wine at night, looking out over Amalfi bay, was something special. We had a fantastic week and would happily stay at Amalfi Blu Retreat again.

The private terraces were a lovely place to wind down at the end of the day, with gorgeous ocean views. It was also very easy to get to and from town. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the stay. Amalfi Blu made a perfect getaway on the Amalfi coast, and I’ll plan to return next time I’m here.
