Casa Emi

Salvatore was welcoming from start to finish. He helped with our bags when we arrived and came back to help at the end. After showing us around Casa Emi, he took us through the city and pointed out his favorite spots. He also left us a lovely surprise: tomatoes, herbs, bread, fresh mozzarella, and fruit, much of it from his vineyard. The terrace has a table where you can sit with a snack or drinks and watch the sunrise or the sunset over the ocean. There’s also a private vineyard just outside the kitchen doors, with grapefruit, lemons, cherry tomatoes, and grapes for guests to pick. The place is charming and beautiful, even better than the pictures. Everything was clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, including olive oil and balsamic made on the family farm. Amalfi is an easy walk of about 15 minutes. We can’t recommend this place enough.

Salvatore had cheese, wine, water, garden tomatoes, and coffee for the espresso machine waiting when we arrived. He was a spectacular, accommodating host and made sure we had everything we needed, and then some. The house was spotless, and the large patio and yard face the ocean, with fresh fruit and vegetables growing in a gorgeous lush garden. The view was breathtaking. It’s walking distance to the ocean and shops in town, and I’ve already planned another trip to Casa Emi. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

Salvatore was kind and helpful, and gave us all the information we needed. The house was clean and just as described. We had a great time staying at his place in Amalfi. Highly recommend it!

This was my third stay at Casa Emi, and I can't imagine taking an Amalfi vacation anywhere else now. Salvatore is very helpful, and the mattress is comfortable. I think I've slept better there than anywhere. The house is bright and clean, with air conditioning, a dishwasher, and good furnishings that have been updated over the years. There are tables inside and out, showers both indoors and outdoors, plenty of privacy, a sea view, and a beautiful lemon garden. It’s immaculately kept.
