Amalfi Apartment

The atmosphere was lovely by day and night, and the reception gave us great recommendations. We even got a discount at a nearby restaurant, and the food was delicious. The hotel is right by the cathedral, close to the waterfront, bus and ferry terminal, cafes, and restaurants. Our room was very clean, with a spacious bathroom and a wonderful shower.

Our room was spacious and clean, with a great view, as in the attached photos, and they surprised us with a thoughtful welcome gift. The common areas are modern and well designed. The hotel is perfectly placed next to the cathedral and close to bus and ferry stops. I strongly recommend it.

The location is perfect, right in the center square, and everything is new and modern. The staff were very helpful, whether I asked in person or sent a WhatsApp message. Asunta went out of her way to arrange transportation at the last minute after our original driver canceled. Francisco was punctual and very friendly. The hotel had opened within the previous six months, so the breakfast room wasn't finished and they might still have been working through a few kinks. I'd take negative comments with a grain of salt. We were never asked to leave our key at reception when coming and going. We had a wonderful stay and were so happy we chose this hotel.

We were there in September, just after peak season, about five months after the hotel opened. It's right on the Dumo square, with direct access to the bus and ferry stations and everything Amalfi has to offer, yet the rooms are quiet. Since it's so new, features like the lights, soundproofing, blackout curtains, and AC are modern. The staff are incredibly helpful and can be reached on WhatsApp for anything you need. There's no breakfast at present, though they said it would be added later. They arranged a private transfer to and from the Naples train station, and it went smoothly. There's no laundry on site, but they work with a local service offering same-day turnaround. It cost 12 eur for 1kg, plus a 3 eur delivery fee. That was a lifesaver for us and well worth it instead of taking a chance on the laundromat up the street.
