L'Antico Convitto

The location made it easy to get around Amalfi, with shops nearby and both land and water transport close by. We loved having breakfast on the rooftop patio, and on a couple of days we got pizza and wine and stayed up there enjoying the views. The rooms were spacious, clean, and up to date, and our two rooms were both really nice. A tip about parking at Laudano Gianluca: don't stop to unload your bags, or you may get caught by oncoming traffic when the light changes. We learned that the hard way. Once we reached the hotel, Gerry at the front desk took all the stress away. He showed us our rooms and the upper terrace, was wonderful with our family, and was so warm and full of joy that we hugged him goodbye. This was our favorite hotel of a two-week trip around Italy. We made lovely memories here.

The rooftop terrace, with its lovely views across Amalfi, was the perfect finishing touch. We also really liked the hotel's quirky decor and roomy accommodations. The staff were great and quick to respond whenever we asked for something.

The hotel is so handy for getting around Amalfi. The ferry and bus terminal are less than five minutes away, and there's a great supermarket next door with a deli, everyday essentials, and sandwiches to take away. It's on the third floor of a building that also has a B&B and a private apartment where the owners live. We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed, working A/C, and a dependable breakfast. The rooftop patio was another nice bonus. Rosa at the front desk and the rest of the team gave us a warm welcome and continued to be helpful throughout our stay. My only suggestion would be to add a few lamps so the room can have softer light in the evenings.

Don't miss the terrace, the views from up there are amazing. The hotel was easy to reach and we didn't have any stairs to climb. Our room was roomy and the beds were really comfortable. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially Gerry and the front desk team.
