The lady serving the food was really nice and sigma! We slept well the second night. The first was rough, Darcy was snoring and Xavier kept us awake. The bunk bed creaked and felt pretty scary, though it was otherwise comfortable. It was really hot, and there was a heat ray in the bathroom.
There wasn’t much around, so we took a shuttle bus to La Spezia for the train station. The restaurant staff weren’t friendly. Breakfast was cold and basic, and the beds weren’t the best. The pool was closed and dirty, though the weather was still cold.
At that price, 100€ a night, I wouldn’t recommend staying here or coming back. There weren’t enough towels or shampoo in the room for two people, and breakfast was all sweets, cake, jam, yoghurt, then more cake and jam. There wasn’t even any coffee. Check-out is at 10am, so don’t expect a peaceful lie-in. It’s called a 3 star hotel, but every 2 star hotel I’ve stayed at has been better.
Our car window was broken during a break-in, and the staff were very helpful. They let us park beside reception, where we could keep an eye on it from our room balcony. Really appreciated that!
The meals were the worst I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was only sweet things, no eggs, cheese, ham, nothing. I’m very disappointed. The rooms were very poor too.
