The hotel is a quiet spot with a lovely host, a nice room and free breakfast from 8-10. It's also cheaper than many other places, and I'd recommend it if you want to enjoy Anacapri on a budget. From here the chairlift is about a four-minute walk, and the museum with the best viewpoint is along the walkway on the left. The island views are fantastic, and I think staying in Anacapri is more enjoyable than Capri, especially for the scenery. I nearly tried to tackle 920 stairs in 45 minutes because Google said it was walkable, but took the bus from Marina Grande instead. It cost €2.40 and was well worth it. Everything about the atmosphere, location, and things to do was wonderful.

Antonio even came in before the regular breakfast hours on our last morning so we could eat before catching our flight. He really didn't have to do that, and I appreciated it. The breakfast time was up to us each morning, the room was clean and had everything we needed, and the garden is beautiful. Antonio was a great host. The location in Anacapri was convenient, close to some very good restaurants. I'd definitely recommend it.

A real sense of home comes through at B&B Viale Axial Marthe. It's a charming, simple little haven where life feels unhurried, tucked down a peaceful Anacapri street away from the crowds. The welcoming owner is attentive and friendly, and the family-run shop gives a glimpse of the neighborhood's authentic Italian character. Between the calm atmosphere and understated charm, it's easy to feel at home in this lovely corner of Capri.
