Jumeirah Capri Palace

We had such a fun few nights here for our anniversary that we added one more. The views are gorgeous, and the place feels peaceful and private. Lorenzo and the whole team were kind, helpful, and fun to be around. Breakfast was incredible. We had a blast and hope to see you next year ❤️❤️

The pool area outside is peaceful and gets sun all day, and the gym is good. The rooms have different themes, though some worked better for us than others. We changed rooms a few times before finding one we liked. The shuttle can take you to the hotel entrance, which is handy since some other five-star hotels in capri town don't offer that. Service was generally pleasant and polite, but a few breakfast staff struggled with even simple requests, both in the restaurant and with room service. There were some disappointments. The hot tap in the bath wouldn't go above 38c degrees, and the spa has a steam room but no sauna. We weren't told there'd be a wedding reception one evening. Zuma and A-ma-re hotels had closed for the season, and we hadn't been told before booking, leaving the two-star Michelin restaurant as the only one on site. The bar's food and snack menu wasn't very inspiring. We tried the two-star Michelin restaurant and weren't impressed. It uses the same room as breakfast, which took away some of the occasion. I ordered a soup from the a la carte entree menu. It cost €75 and was nice, but it was simply blended tomatoes, so felt underwhelming for that price 😂

We liked the hotel so much that we added another night to our Capri trip. The pool is gorgeous, the Michelin-star restaurant was unforgettable, and the private shuttle made getting around easy. When we left, they even got us to the ferry right on schedule. From arrival on, every part of the team was terrific, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant staff and especially the attentive pool waiter. They all went above and beyond. If you're after real luxury with warm hospitality, this is a must. We can't wait to come back!

The rooftop ceremony at Capri Palace was breathtaking when we photographed a wedding there. With that incredible view over Capri, it seemed like the perfect place for the couple to say “I do.” The elegant setting still had plenty of character, and it made a memorable atmosphere for them and their guests. Capri Palace feels like a dream spot for a wedding celebration.
