Room-the Archi B&B Apartment

I had such a good time here and can’t wait to return. Fabrizio kept checking that we were comfortable, entertained, fed, and looked after. When we were running late for our ferry, he even drove us to the port. His Aunt (Anna) was the sweetest, cleaned our room each day, served breakfast, and restocked the fridge. The garden breakfast, under a lemon tree full of fruit, was the highlight of our Capri stay. We spent four nights here, and the fridge was regularly replenished with fresh tomatoes, eggs, water, and yogurt. It was quiet at night, and both the owner and his parents were so friendly and helpful. This was our favorite B&B on our Amalfi Coast trip.

The fresh pastries Fabrizio baked each morning were a highlight, along with fruit, cereal, bread, and a fridge restocked daily with drinks, yogurt, fruit, and homemade limoncello. He also arranged dinners at family-run restaurants. The B&B is gorgeous, and my room had everything I needed, was very clean, and had great water pressure. With the island so hot, the air-conditioning was a lovely extra. The bathroom had towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel, and a hairdryer. Fabrizio picked me up at Marina Grande port and drove me to the property in Anacapri, pointing out landmarks and sharing recommendations along the way. Anacapri is within walking distance, and regular buses connect to Punta Carena (Faro) and Capri/Marina Grande. He really goes above and beyond. I rarely write reviews, but I’d recommend this place to solo travelers or couples. For what you get, the price is a steal.

Anacapri was beautiful to stay in, and it was easy to get around the island by bus from there. We had a wonderful time, with Fabrizio and his family as excellent, gracious hosts.
