La Quiete

The biggest draw is how quiet and lovely the place feels, and I’d happily come back to unwind there. The town center is only a few kilometers away, with plenty of breakfast spots, since breakfast isn’t served on site. Inside, the bed is especially comfortable, with two pillow options, and the mosquito net is useful in this countryside setting. The bathroom was clean, though the shower felt too small. The rooms are welcoming and elegant, with quality parquet flooring, furniture, and good cleanliness, although some furnishings and the wall lights could use improvement. The woman who greeted us was kind and discreet.

Tucked among the trees, this guesthouse is a charming, quiet spot. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, with baroque styling and lovely materials. There’s no breakfast.

The rooms were clean, and the receptionist was very friendly. La Quiete sits mostly among the woods, so it’s a good place to rest in complete quiet. Anagni itself is picturesque and worth seeing. For food, I’d also suggest the Pinza at the Frantoio Pizzeria on Vicolo DiVino.

A car is definitely needed to get around, and the price felt high for lodging without breakfast. We paid €77, but didn’t get a receipt; we were so tired that we only noticed the next morning. The room furnishings also seem dated. Still, the bed was comfortable, and the windows look out over greenery and nature. If you want a peaceful night in cool air, away from the city’s chaos, this place works well. Its setting among nature and silence is its strongest point, and it has a lot of potential.
