Agriturismo Il Mandorlo

It was a peaceful, comfortable room, just right for a relaxing weekend. The property is lovely and very quiet, and when we asked for help with the cold, the kind owners brought us a space heater.

After several hours of walking, we arrived at this beautiful farmhouse and were greeted by a breathtaking view. The owner and Tiziana were both helpful. Tiziana made a wonderful sweet and savory breakfast and took thoughtful care of what our four children needed. There was even an unexpected piano performance from a guest in a corner of the common room. Outside, the garden has a little play area, a swing in a tree, and an adorable white dog. Recommended!

The view was breathtaking, and the quiet countryside felt like a breath of fresh air away from the city. We chose this place because it was near the stadium for a concert, and Michele and his father were both very kind and helpful. Even though we got there around 10 PM, they made room for us to join a tasting of local cheeses and cured meats that the other guests had already finished. Their olive oil on bruschetta is a must, and so is their Primogenito wine. Highly recommended if you want a few days to truly relax.

There were so many mosquitoes that enjoying the garden was impossible. The rooms were very, very small, and the photos made them look misleadingly large, though at least they were very clean. At €140 per night, the price felt excessive for such a meager breakfast with little choice. The young owner also asked for another €15 to pick us up from the bus stop, just a 10-minute drive away. I found that absurd. That had never happened to me before!
