B&B La Casa in Centro

The bed was really comfortable, the room was a good size, and we slept very well despite the central location. Parking nearby is mostly luck. The balcony was lovely for sitting out in the morning or evening, and the accommodation was exceptionally clean. You can tell the owner puts a lot of effort into keeping it in good shape. We got a nice room decorated in turquoise. There was a warm cover in the drawer, though the towels smelled a bit, which can happen with dark towels. The flat has several rooms and a shared breakfast area with sweet cakes and oats. The kitchen is cute, and it has a camera, as the information sent after payment explained. You also get a video showing how to make milk foam for your cappuccino. Communication was a little shaky at first because of technical issues. Finding the gate is tricky, it's just to the right of the Carpisa store, above a pretty green balcony with flowers. The Booking rules only mentioned that parties aren't allowed, which is understandable. After paying, though, we received a long list of other restrictions, including no beer or wine in the rooms. If you want cold cuts or cheese instead of the sweet Italian breakfast, there's an extra charge of 5€/day. That information should have been on Booking in advance. Other than the initial communication and those late details, we had a very nice stay. Absolutely recommended!

Leandro was quick to answer our questions and very accommodating, with useful suggestions for local restaurants and places to visit. My friends and I had a lovely stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were air conditioning units throughout the flat. It's right in the center of Ancona with plenty of good restaurants and shops close by. The city is beautiful to walk around, with great viewpoints. We felt safe and found the locals very friendly.

After our ship from Greece was delayed by 9 hours, we still had 1400 kilometres to drive. At 9:30 in the evening, we booked this apartment spontaneously through AirBNB while still on the ship. We would've been grateful for anything, but the place was amazing. The decoration showed real care, the food was amazing, and the hospitality and friendliness exceeded what we'd have expected even on a planned holiday. The old town is surprisingly beautiful, too. I can't wait to come back with my family, this time to enjoy both the apartment and the town. One of the best places I've stayed anywhere in Europe.

The room was just what I'd hoped for, clean and with a nice view. The host sent directions when we arrived in Ancona and patiently cleared up anything we weren't sure about. Once we got there, he showed us what the city had to offer and suggested places to eat well without getting ripped off. He was available if we had questions or problems, so we never felt lost. There was also a good selection of coffee, tea and sweets in the room for a private start to the morning. With B&B La Casa in Centro, we got what the photos showed and more.
