I love the minimalist look here, with two sleekly designed beds and large cupboards for storage. The beds are big and super comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is incredibly fast. It’s a very nice hotel in a great spot near the ocean where cruise ships pass, with a lovely little cafe down the street.

I needed a room in Ancona, and this suite went above and beyond. It’s huge, safe, spotless, and in an ideal location. There’s some online paperwork to fill out for check-in, but they were really helpful despite the language barrier.

The suites are nicely decorated, but the electricity didn’t work properly. The electric key failed completely, so at 23:30 we couldn’t get into the room we’d booked and paid for. Electricity wasn’t working at all in other rooms either. Decide for yourself whether to book a proper hotel or stay with Metropolitan Suites without guarantees. We’re still waiting for someone to come and fix the problem.

The price, location, and service are a nice combination, and it’s very close to the city center. I always found a place to park outside, so I didn’t use the parking space they suggested. It would have cost €15 a day, which seemed quite expensive.

Modern, well equipped, and serviced every day. A very good option if you want something different from the traditional hotels in central Ancona.
