Hotel Canada

Max’s enthusiasm and dedication got us so involved in the evening games that we stayed at the hotel to watch and join in. There’s entertainment for adults and children, too. It’s a family-friendly place with a professional feel that’s still very welcoming. ☺️

We were close to Andalo Life park and just a few minutes from the centre, which made the location excellent. Our third-floor room was large and clean, and both breakfast and dinner buffets had plenty of good food. There’s no children’s menu, though the kitchen is happy to handle requests. The indoor and outdoor play areas are well equipped. There’s entertainment staff, but the organized outings are only half-day trips and return for lunch. Reception service could be better. Good value for money.

Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the rooms are all carefully maintained down to the details.

We were told our assigned room was a double for triple occupancy, but the size they gave us by email and confirmed by phone didn’t match what we found. They’d said 15-16 square meters excluding the bathroom. In reality it seemed no more than 10-12 square meters, or perhaps 15 including the bathroom. We asked them to find a solution, but nothing was offered, so we had to cut our stay short after one night. The room and bathroom were dated, and the mattress was beyond comment. Poor professionalism and an old-fashioned property. The restaurant staff were courteous, and I thank them. They’re the only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one.
