Family & Wellness Hotel Serena

The spa was great, and the pool was nice, though on the small side and without a view. The kids’ facilities and entertainment were also very good, and the food was great. Since we ski every day, though, getting to the slopes was a hassle. There’s no hotel shuttle to the slopes, the public bus only comes two or three times an hour, and the hotel shuttle won’t take skis. Parking is limited too, so you have to get there early. That made the whole stay less enjoyable.

The food at Hotel Serena was the highlight for me. I’ve eaten at several Michelin-starred restaurants, and the cooking here was on that level, with surprising new flavors in every dish. The adults’ spa was another standout: modern, well cared for, and easy to spend a couple of relaxing hours in. We were there for six days with our four-year-old, and the outdoor playground was amazing even in February, when our child had fun in the snow. The animation team was attentive, caring, and clearly loved working with the kids. The staff’s effort showed throughout the hotel, from keeping the building and facilities in shape to delivering good service every day. Management and the owners put real heart into the place. Hotel Serena has a charming Trentino-style exterior, while the inside feels modern and welcoming. Their “Family first” motto really does come through in the way they look after families, and in the care they put into everything. We had a wonderful stay that went far beyond what we expected. Five stars hardly seems enough. I usually don’t go back to the same place, but I already want to experience Hotel Serena again. Highly recommended, and I mean it.

Our kids loved the playground and the animation team. The rooms were very clean, and we enjoyed the pool, spa, and excellent food. The owner was around and attentive too. Highly recommended for the facilities for children.

We had a fantastic holiday with my son and can’t wait to return. The staff were so kind and ready to help with whatever we needed. The setting in Andalo and the Trentino region is beautiful, and the hotel really caters to families, with services and games for children. There’s a good range of things to do indoors and outside, as well as a pool. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with an extensive, carefully put-together menu that included gluten-free and lactose-free options. I’d happily recommend it to families looking for a welcoming, fun place to spend their holiday.
