Lago Idro Glamping Boutique

A great camping spot for a mobile home or caravan, with nice facilities and friendly, very good service from the staff. On Tuesdays the restaurant has an Italian theme night with live music, which I can definitely recommend.

We had a good stay in the Coco Suite Glamping Tents by the lake. The team were nice and helpful, and the bathrooms and showers were clean and modern. In the men's section, there were three regular toilets and three holes in the ground. I don't understand why, but the regular ones were always available. The Coco Suite was nice overall, with enough room and a comfy bed. The table had a very wobbly leg, and some kitchenware was a bit greasy, but okay. The campsite pizzeria was nice and affordable, about 10€ per pizza. My only other complaint is the birds kept in a cage as decoration on the campsite. We personally didn't like that, though I know it's a matter of taste.

There's loads to do and see nearby, with plenty of walks and water sports. The bar was expensive, but they include free extras if you ask. The site itself is amazing, clean, beautiful, right by the lake, and the staff are extremely helpful. It's expensive, but worth every penny. Most pitches are large, though the lake view pitches can feel a bit exposed if you'd like privacy. Very few British visitors come here because they all go to Lake Garda. This place was quieter and more beautiful, so they're 100% missing out.

We'd love to come back. This was one of the best glamping experiences we've had, and it worked perfectly for the whole family. The huts were modern and newly furnished, and the kids really enjoyed the animation activities. The staff spoke and understood English, Deutsch, and Italian very well. The restaurant was up to standard, with reasonable prices, and the beach was just outside the camping area.
