We'd happily return to this gem. The hotel was well organized and maintained, and the clean spa was a relaxing place to unwind after being outdoors. The staff made us feel at home with their warm hospitality. The receptionist speaks German and Italian and had useful recommendations, though I'm not sure about English. We spent a lovely week here, surrounded by countryside, authentic houses, and breathtaking views. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby. Dinner is available as an add-on and is well worth it: the menu changes daily, and the food was better than we'd expected, with real attention to detail.

The staff were professional, relaxed, and ready to help, and I enjoyed the pool and wellness facilities. The location is very nice, with cozy rooms, a pleasant restaurant, and bars. The food is excellent, though vegetarians may be out of luck: they can offer cheese instead of meat, but nothing else.

The sauna and pool facilities feel strikingly modern compared with the rest of this family-run mountain hotel. There's a steam sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, and a large heated indoor pool. Hiking trails start right beside the hotel, so we could leave the car behind. It's fairly remote, but breakfast and dinner are excellent. Rooms have a basic country style and are clean and comfortable.

Winter isn't the only time for a visit. My children and I had a great week here on a winter skiing holiday, and the spa was a lovely way to end the day. The place is cozy, and the people were always smiling and happy to help.
