The location is handy, and underground parking saves a lot of time in winter. But the apartments need more cleaning, and the ski rooms need some kind of heat. At 5 degrees Celsius inside, ski boots just won’t dry. This was our second stay at La Gran Becca, and the first time was a much better experience.
Sergio was a very friendly host, the buildings are attractive, and the flats have good equipment. The view of Cervino, or "La Gran Becca" in the local Franco-Provençal language, is superb. We found the living room in our three-room flat a bit cramped and quite dark, though. For winter holidays, it’s a good value place to stay, just 10 mn from Valtournenche and another 10 from Breuil-Cervinia. I’d definitely recommend it.
Kind, quick service, and the location is right in the center of cervinia. The golf course, gondolas and shops are all within walking distance. I haven't stayed in the rooms.
The village is within an easy half-hour drive of Cervinia. There isn't much to do or many places to eat there, especially near the end of the season.
Not worth the price. The room service was poor, and sound carried badly through the walls.
