The town is quaint and made a good base for exploring Monferrato Langhe, and the property has lovely views. My room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, but what really made the stay was Chiara. She made me feel at home as soon as I arrived, and she’s a gracious, charming hostess. Moonfrà is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. I was sad to leave, though I’ll definitely return.

Chiara, the owner and host, is absolutely charming. The Palazzo and rooms are beautifully designed, and breakfast is made to order. There’s also a small shop and an honesty bar. I booked directly on their website, which was super easy, and communication beforehand was very good, with all the info we needed.

We stayed four days with my family and our two dachshunds, using three rooms, and had a great time. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the old-fashioned building has been updated with a touch of class. The owners looked after us from the personal check-in onwards, even picking fresh herbs and fruit to add to the generous breakfast. Homemade cakes, pancakes, omelettes, and eggs were the highlight. There’s free water to refill, plus a self-service bar corner if you fancy a drink, and some local products for sale. The lovely swimming pool was another plus. Moonfra is definitely a place to stay!

Chiara was responsive and really friendly, and gave us recommendations for places to see and restaurants. The room was sparkling clean and the whole place was nicely decorated. My husband and I had an amazing stay at Moonfra. I highly recommend it!
