The B&B is conveniently placed, just a short walk from the station. There's a supermarket across the street, with a bar and tobacco shop next door. It was clean and comfortable. My only issue was the bathroom in my room: a small tub and a shower curtain that barely stayed in place made it awkward to use. The woman who handled the cleaning was very kind and helpful.

There was no friendly greeting or even a good morning, and when I asked for the medical emergency number on arrival, I was told to look it up online. The common area was filthy, with stains, dirty tables, and ashtrays that looked untouched for at least a month. At night the lights were out, so it was pitch black and unusable. The day before we left, the beds hadn't been made and there were no clean towels. I called Mr. Bruno and was told that, for the price I was asking, cleaning wasn't included. Apparently that was on the website, but I couldn't check because the computer was broken, and nobody had asked whether I'd read the rules. And the bed wasn't even made? He had decided what he wanted to charge. I hadn't offered that amount. We paid by postal order before we even arrived. When I told the cleaning lady there weren't enough towels for the number of people in the room, she implied I'd stolen them and asked where I had put them. She backed down after I threatened to open the bags in front of the police. After we protested to Mr. Bruno, who said nothing, it turned out the outside lights were broken. The cleaning lady swept outdoors, and they found that a pile of dirt had fallen from the only fruit tree there. Mr. Bruno said he'd refund our money, but never did. Breakfast was included, but the bar is closed on Fridays. We had to go there the night before to pick up food for the next morning. I've never seen anything like this. I wasn't expecting the services of some grand hotel, but I did expect a made bed and a clean towel. DO NOT GO THERE.

A peaceful spot for a holiday. The property is beautiful, and the staff are professional and qualified. They were also welcoming and friendly, and the place was clean and hospitable.
