The breakfast was perfect, and the rooms were clean. The owners were so welcoming, which made for a really nice stay.

They make wine from their own land, and the people here are so nice. A beautiful place.

The location is a mixed bag. Getting through the narrow streets to this somewhat hidden guesthouse takes a bit of nerve, but the view is beautiful, especially in the evening. The big space in front of the atrium could make a lovely outdoor dining area. The mattresses were fine, and breakfast, included in the room price, was good and filling. Service was a real plus. Zuzanna was flexible about check-in and let us into our room before noon. The bed was made properly each day, and we got fresh towels. The double room itself felt worn, though. The ceiling light looked like an old moth catcher and sat right in the middle of the walkway. The bathroom especially needs updating: some towels were coming apart, the shower fittings and head were old, and limescale had clogged the faucet aerator so badly that water only came out intermittently. Watch out for the very high step into the bathroom. The hostess is attentive and welcoming, and the staff and service are excellent. With updated rooms and furnishings, particularly the bathroom, the guesthouse could match its lovely setting indoors too.
