Schloss Hotel Korb

The view was breathtaking, and this was one of the most beautiful places I've visited in Italy. I only wish I'd booked more nights.

UPDATE: Melanie from Service was there from the next day, and she's the best. She's caring and organized, and keeps the other colleagues moving. She's just amazing. At dinner the following night, we were also given a drink as an apology. The reception girls, the one with black hair, Tina, and the blonde-haired girl, were great too. They were friendly, helpful, and did their best. I've updated the rating to reflect that. 11.MAY.2025: We're a table of 10 half-board guests. They left us waiting in a separate room, where it seemed all the guests had been forgotten, for more than 45 minutes before anyone came to take our orders. After that, we had to complain again before the drinks arrived, and the food still hadn't come. It seems some major things weren't available. There was a theatre event and it was also Mother's Day, so the organization was very poor.

We spent 3 days in this incredible hotel, a medieval castle turned into a really cool place to stay. The friendliness and warmth of super Ana Maria and the Dellago couple deserve a special thank you. The service during meals was excellent too. Congratulations to Alejandro, Nico, Mela and Branko. While you're here, try a Forst, the authentic beer from Bolzano, South Tyrol. This is where the Dolomites come alive!

We loved staying here, and the food was absolutely delicious. The place feels romantic, with great hikes starting right from the hotel. The pool has amazing views and there's a lovely manicured lawn. The shower products were the one thing we didn't like.
