The rooms were clean, the view was amazing, and the food was excellent. Staff were very friendly too. The mattresses were pretty hard, though, and the Wi-Fi was so slow it was only really enough for messages and browsing.

No sleep at all. Local families were really loud and kept the party going all night. Not what you'd expect in the countryside... ;-(

The countryside around Principe di Aragona Rural Tourism Resort was gorgeous, with olive groves, old pistachio orchards, centuries-old vineyards, and more. My friends and I stayed on May 30th and 31st, 2025, just minutes from Agrigento, and those two days were unforgettable. The estate is lovely and comfortable, with old-world elegance, bright spacious rooms, and charming terraces. Rosa, the owner, is the heart of the place. She was there throughout our stay and welcomed us so warmly, taking care of every detail and treating us to generous traditional cooking. The staff were kind and attentive. Dinner was served at a beautiful imperial table in one of the indoor rooms. Every dish, made with local products, was excellent, and the service was prompt. The olive oil made on the estate deserves a mention too, fragrant and high quality. Breakfast was plentiful and impeccable, with fragrant cakes and tarts, croissants, and hot rolls. We could eat at tables inside or outside the villa, and it was hard to leave. Rosa is knowledgeable, hardworking, helpful, kind, full of life, courageous, and tenacious, a wonderful example of female entrepreneurship in Sicily. You really do feel at home at Rosa's, and it makes you want to return.

The place has just been renovated, and the staff are efficient and friendly. I left satisfied, though I do wish there had been Wi-Fi, which is essential out in the countryside. The restaurant wasn't always available and had to be requested ahead of time. I hope that was just an unexpected issue at the time.
