Arbatax Prk RES-Borgo C. Moresca by Falkensteiner

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the park and accommodation feel very dated for the price. We waited almost an hour for transport to our place, with no update on how much longer it would take. It would've been nice to be offered coffee or something while we waited. Inside, the mattress had stains, the faucet and toilet kept leaking, the faucet stopper didn't work, and the showerhead holder was loose and poorly fitted. The whole place needs serious updating.

The grounds, beach, and park are magnificent, with enough to explore for 7-10 days, and the setting feels pleasantly private. Of the six hotels near the park, this one has the best grounds. Our stay also included an airport transfer because we booked directly on the hotel website, which was great since getting there from Olbia can otherwise be quite costly. The room could use better drainage and air conditioning, and breakfast could offer more variety.

The grounds are lovely, but getting to the entrance was difficult and the infrastructure is in poor shape. Breakfast was the same every day, with few choices and a long line for coffee. Our room floor was so dirty that white socks turned grey, and the door still had a two-finger gap after it was locked. There was no WiFi or phone signal in the room. I won't be coming back.

The setting is the real draw: a huge hillside park with cliffs, beaches, and animals, and the atmosphere is hard to beat. The infrastructure is a little dated, but that didn't get in the way too much. Food was good, and the restaurants on site were surprisingly nicer than the other places in town. My most amazing resort stay so far.
