Palazzo Tronconi

We had a great time here. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, and it makes a good base for exploring the area, including Monte Cassino. The sunsets were spectacular! Our room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of hot water, good towels, and a tall shower wand you could adjust. Breakfast was delicious: coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, and lots of tarts and cakes. If homemade apple cake is available, don't miss it. One tip: don't rely on Apple maps to find your way.

It's a beautifully restored building right in the heart of Arce, with everything spotlessly clean and well equipped, including cold AC, a hair dryer, and water. The bed was really comfortable, and our room even had a bathtub. Breakfast in the morning was a delight. A lovely place to rest and get ready to explore the area. The winery is only a few minutes away by car, and it's a visit you shouldn't miss.

I paid for a stay I couldn't check into. Booking.com had allowed a later check-in, but the property refused it.

At Palazzo Tronconi, the view of the Ciociaria hills was the first thing we found when we opened the windows. It's a memory we'll always treasure. Waking up there was lovely, too, with a simple, authentic breakfast prepared by the staff and served with care and kindness. Staying in this charming historic building was a special experience. It keeps the character of the place, with thoughtfully designed rooms and a relaxing feel. We'd gladly return.
