Dinner came in the traditional Italian order, antipasti, pasta, then meat, with lovely Italian wine along the way. The restaurant sits high on a mountain, so we watched a wonderful sunset while eating. The food and setting were both amazing. I’d absolutely recommend it.

That truffle pasta was so good I came back, this time for the tapas board. It was worth the price and left me full and happy. The countryside setting is lovely, with delicious food and wine, and the views are beautiful. I’d especially recommend it for a couple.

We’ve been to Il Rustico three times, and each visit has stuck with us. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the view is beautiful, and the pasta is delicious. I also really enjoyed the zuppa di cipolla and verdure gratinate.

The pool was lovely, and the views stretch toward Piticchio on one side and Palazzo on the other. We felt welcome the whole time, thanks in large part to the kind family. Locals and farmers coming in for lunch and dinner added to the atmosphere, and the food was good. We’d planned to stay one night last August, but ended up staying five. It was wonderful.
