Camping Maroadi

The crew spoke excellent English, as well as Italian and German at least, and the service was great. We liked the simple-to-use, fantastic facilities, the reasonably priced shop, and the good restaurant/cafe. Being right on the beach was a big plus. The premium pitch had plenty of room, and we could have taken a smaller one if one had been available. It did feel a bit pricey, close to hotel rates for a premium spot, but with the facilities it wasn't too bad. I think we paid around €60 for two people and a pitch, taxes included.

We had a basic pitch at the edge of the campsite, which worked really well for us in our California. The facilities were a quick walk away and were cleaned several times a day. The pebbled beach was close too. It's a well-run site with very good services.

A great spot for families and people into sports. The pitches have drinking water and low, 6A electricity, which won't run a kettle, so bring a gas bottle.

For windsurfing or biking, this is a great place to stay, with an excellent beachside location. The restaurant serves good food and has friendly people, and the shop is excellent with everything you need. I'd avoid Segnana, the closest windsurf rental and school, though. The two grumpy old men there ruin the atmosphere and seem only after your money.
