The kitchen is stocked well, and the place was clean and comfortable. Great spot, too.

The center and castle are both an easy walk away, and I’d recommend the place. I stayed one night; everything was clean and there was everything I needed. Each room has its own thermostat. When the boiler gave me trouble, I called the hotel and a technician came within 10 minutes to sort it out. There’s street parking for residents, and they give you a parking pass at check-in along with the keys. Just keep in mind there’s no elevator.

The location is very central, so you can get around on foot. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, but I’d booked two rooms with two double beds in each. There were no instructions for the keys as advertised, and instead of that setup I was given a pull-out couch in the kitchen.

The room was clean, towels were plentiful, and there was plenty of hot water. The mattress was okay, and the boiler worked perfectly. But supplies were very bare: just one toilet roll and no dish soap, cloths, or other washing-up things. They apparently put everything away, so bring your own espresso powder, spices, oil and the like, or buy them and take the opened leftovers with you. I’ve had better equipped holiday apartments. There’s no kettle, just a gas stove and pots, though two small espresso makers were provided. Finding a parking spot was tough. Five times in six days we had to leave the car up the hill, only 300 meters away, but awkward with lots of luggage. The electric gate remote didn’t work. We drove to the hotel, but they couldn’t give us another one. From outside, the gate opens with the key on the left. To get out, you need to find the fixed handle around the corner on the building’s outer wall. The hotel guy didn’t know where it was and confidently told us there was a button on the gate instead. 😆
