VIVERE suites and rooms

The location may not suit everyone: it takes about 5 minutes for Italian drivers and 10 minutes for all other drivers to reach Lake Garda’s northern shore. Even so, this is an excellent place to stay when visiting the lake. The rooms are top notch, especially the beds and shower, and there’s a swimming pool and spa. Eddy, the owner, and his staff provide all the useful information guests need about the area. Breakfast is personalized and great, and Marta makes daily cakes to die for.

Breakfast by the pool was such a treat, with a fresh cake each day and plenty of fruit. We’re both vegan, and they were thoughtful about having options for us. My husband and I spent a blissful couple of days in the romantic suite at Vivere suites and rooms. It was gorgeous, with lovely little details like fresh flowers, a room scent and chocolates. Edi was a caring, attentive host who made the whole place feel warm. We had the best time.

The poolside breakfast was amazing, and there were thoughtful extras like free water and cake throughout the day, plus restaurant and local hike recommendations. Edy’s hospitality, the villas and the surroundings were all lovely. The atmosphere just wasn’t what we expected: we’d found the place through Mr & Mrs Smith and thought it would be quiet and relaxed for adults, but there were lots of children running around and using the pool. We also didn’t realise it was dog-friendly. It didn’t really bother us, but everyone seemed to have a dog, including at breakfast and by the pool. Great in many ways, just not ideal for a child-free couple hoping to rest by the pool.

The rooms were spacious, luxurious and tastefully designed, and breakfast was fantastic. Edy went out of his way to make my family and me feel comfortable. It’s a lovely oasis, and I hope I can return one day. Thank you, Edy!
