The property itself is beautiful and quite conveniently close to the bus stop. Arabella, our host, gave us wonderful advice on typical Ligurian dishes to try and how to get to the Cingue Terre. But after six nights in the two-bedroom apartment in June 2019, I wouldn't return to Podere Morucciola. It seemed likely to have a mold problem, judging by the smell and the air. Everything felt damp, from the kitchen chairs to the bedding. I found a dirty, wet towel under the bedroom cupboard. The floor and apartment were very dirty, with dirt and spiderwebs everywhere, plus ants and other bugs. The dishwasher had been broken by previous guests and wasn't fixed during our stay. There were no potholders. The property wasn't well maintained, with plants growing wild instead of being trimmed, and getting to the bus stop meant pushing through thick bushes. It deserves better care than it gets.

Everything was neat and clean, and I'd happily stay again. It's a tastefully furnished attic B&B, though you have to stoop to get into the bedroom.

I've stayed here several times. The rooms are carefully furnished down to the smallest details, and the location is great for reaching nearby seaside towns. The owner of Podere Morucciola is very kind and lovely (...not just in the way she treats people!). A great option for couples and families.

Wonderful views across the Magra valley from the hills of Arcola. Only a few kilometers from the sea. Top spot!!!
